I recently got back from a trip from one of my favorite places on the planet: Disneyland. While visiting this time I fell in love with this Disneyland Coleslaw Recipe and I got it just so I could share it with you. This coleslaw dressing recipe is a vinegar based dressing and using pre-bagged coleslaw mix makes this a super easy zesty coleslaw recipe that will be great as a side dish for your barbecue.
Disneyland Coleslaw Recipe
Most of the restaurants and quick service food options at Disneyland had an option for coleslaw as a side, and every time there was the opportunity to taste Disneyland’s coleslaw, I took it. It’s so good. It’s one of my favorite Disney recipes.
- It’s amazing with the pulled pork sandwich at the River Belle Terrace (we ate here twice).
- It’s delicious at Flo’s Diner (I actually ordered two and ate it as a meal instead of ordering something else with a coleslaw side).
Disneyland For The Win
My husband and I have worked very hard this year so we could take our son not just once, but twice to Disneyland. Okay, it’s not just about my son – we love it there too. We were fortunateenough to see Disneyland with both the winter decorations and it’s usual summer look.
I apologize for the conversion of photos here on TBK. I wish I could show the full quality, they’re spectacular.
We got to see The Haunted Mansion with both the original and The Nightmare Before Christmas Theme (we both preferred original), try different foods (I really missed the sticky toffee pudding from one of the carts at California Adventure this time around), and make double the memories.
Between the two visits, we got to hit up every single ride (well, except California Screamin’ our son couldn’t go on it and it wasn’t one we both wanted to do by ourselves).
I’m so thankful that we took the time out of our busy lives twice this year to spend time at Disneyland. Our trip in May will probably be our last trip for Disney for a while, and we do plan on trying out Disneyworld next. Who knows what our future will bring.
Disneyland Resources:
I’ve been writing about Disneyland a lot lately because it’s one of my favorite places. I plan on having a special Disneyland recipes guide soon as the good people at City Hall really helped me out there. If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland check out these blog posts:

Best Coleslaw Recipe Ever
The recipe given to me from Disneyland’s City Hall is actually titled as Taste Pilot’s Grill Marinated Slaw.
I made some small changes to Disneyland’s coleslaw recipe (aka I used a bag coleslaw mix since I like to make life on myself easier).
TBK’s Pro Tip: I’ve made this coleslaw recipe with both a creamy Italian dressing and an Italian vinaigrette, I found the vinaigrette one tasted more similar to Disneyland’s recipe.
Does it taste identical to the coleslaw I remember from River Belle Terrace? No. However, maybe it was slightly different at Taste Pilot’s (now named Smokejumpers Grill, beside Soarin’). Or itcould be because I don’t know what brand of apple juice they’re using (I used Santa Cruz) or what Italiandressing they used.
Either way, it’s still delicious and a coleslaw recipe I’ll be making for years to come.
TBK’s Pro Tip: This coleslaw recipe is even better the next day. Give the salad some time to marinate.
Now I just need to learn how to make the apple pie dipped apples from Marceline’s and I’ll be set. Oh heavens, now I’m craving them.
Howlong can you keep coleslaw in the fridge?
If properly stored, in an airtight container, colelsaw can last 3-5 days in the fridge (but this recipe won’t last that long).
What to serve with coleslaw:
- Crockpot ribs
- Broccoli Ranch Twice Baked Potatoes
- Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos with Slaw and Spicy Mayo – I used this Disneyland colelsaw recipe as the topping and it was SO good.
